Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 26, 2026
These Terms govern your purchase and use of Blunlock (the “Software”), a macOS utility provided by Blunlock Inc. (“we”, “us”). By purchasing a license or installing the Software, you agree to these Terms.
1. License grant
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use Blunlock on the number of Macs permitted by your license tier:
- Personal License — up to 1 Mac.
- Family License — up to 3 Macs.
- Team License — up to 10 Macs.
A license is for your own use (or your household / team, as applicable). You may not sublicense, resell, or distribute the Software or your license key.
2. Lifetime updates
Your license includes free updates for the lifetime of the product. We may evolve the Software, change features, or discontinue functionality at our discretion. We will not remove core proximity lock / unlock functionality from your installed version.
3. System requirements
Blunlock requires macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later, a Bluetooth-capable Mac, and a paired Bluetooth device (such as an iPhone). You are responsible for ensuring your hardware meets these requirements before purchase.
4. Payments & taxes
Payments are processed by our reseller, Paddle.com, who acts as the merchant of record. Prices are listed in USD; applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST is calculated at checkout based on your billing location.
5. License keys
On successful payment you will receive a license key by email, typically within minutes. Keep your key secure — it is your proof of purchase and is used to activate the Software. If you lose your key, contact support and we will reissue it after verifying your purchase.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Software, except to the extent such activity is permitted by applicable law. You agree not to use the Software for any unlawful purpose.
7. Warranty disclaimer
The Software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. While we take security seriously and follow Apple's native Keychain and security protocols, Blunlock is a convenience tool and should not be your only line of defense for sensitive systems.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Software is limited to the amount you paid for your license in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms. On termination, you must uninstall the Software and stop using your license key.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance.
